"When you Live in a Flood Zone and here comes the Sea"
This is an image that holds fast in my mind. During a blizzard I walked to the edge of my street to witness the sea, turbulent and coming over the sea wall. As the climate becomes more erratic and our local and global environments are more at risk, the need to take action is more urgent. The frustration of business interests taking precedent over the needs to use knowledge to move ahead for a brighter future for generations to come is alrming. I paint my neighborhood, the sea and wetlands near Boston, Massachusetts in the hope that others may respond to my concerns and take action.
