Ronni Komarow is an artist, college design instructor, and curator. Her art practice is based primarily on personal narrative and its connections to larger issues. Fragments of drawing, monoprint, collage, encaustic, found materials and bits of text all figure heavily as story-telling vehicles. Ronni especially loves artist’s books because they have an inside and an outside; things may appear one way on the exterior and open to reveal something quite different and surprising.
In addition to artmaking and teaching, Ronni has two badly-behaved (though handsome) cats and is training to run the Boston Marathon.
