The Benthoscopie photographic series, produced in Poland in a marine biology laboratory, is part of a cycle of research into the relationship between power and listening in the Baltic. Here, seaweed is our intermediary for approaching the normally invisible underwater environment. An excellent marker of the sea's state of health, seaweed signals the fragility of a liquid body infinitely larger than ourselves, confronted by multiple anthropic pressures.
