Entangled, is an abstraction that references how seagrass meadows are weighed down by micro-plastics that flood our oceans. These micro-plastics are so tiny that they are only visible on the blades of seagrass with a microscope. I tried to capture this precarious relationship with mixed media, with one shape overlapping into the next. Who would have thought that our consumption of polyesters including my beloved fleece jackets all wash tiny micro particles into our waterways and oceans.
